Innovation

Apple leads the field because of it.

Google lives by it.

Rick Warren says that with every increase in innovation the church increases it's effectiveness.

It causes some churches to decline while others are thriving.

Are you innovative?  Is your church or business innovative?

I was with a snack pack and without a spoon, this is innovation.

Creative Chaos

So this is my first attempt at link love with Los!

A little Creative Chaos for the coming week.

We are using the videos, motion backgrounds, logo's, and banners from Lifechurch.tv for our Supernatural series.  I am preaching totally different stuff but their media was amazing.

Last night was my intro into the supernatural and next week we are teaching the teen's on Demon's and Evil Spirit's.  They are so stoked!  This isn't a topic we spend much time on, but teenagers love to hear about the supernatural.

So this is what I am doing.  Saturday night, Josiah,  Austin, and I are going "Ghost Hunting" with a real life Christian Paranormal Investigator.  We are filming the entire event and it should create some good buzz and some interesting situations even if nothing really happens.

We are also showing clips from the A&E show "Paranormal State" before the service and have printed out Invite cards with the Supernatural logo on one side and our website on the other for students to hand out to their friends.

We know that this is a touchy subject for a lot of people.  We are not "looking for a fight" with a demon or trying to sensationalize the occult.  Our goal is to give teenagers a real life look into the supernatural through the Bibles teaching on the subject and through the cultures infatuation with it, and NO, I'M NOT WORRIED THAT I AM "OPENING" MYSELF UP TO EVIL SPIRITS!!!!!!  JESUS BEAT THE CRAP OUT OF THE DEVIL ONCE AND FOR ALL AND HAS GIVEN HIS FOLLOWERS AUTHORITY OVER ALL THE POWER OF THE DEVIL!

My Dry Erase Solution

I have found my Dry Erase Board solution.

You can paint any surface to make it Dry Erase!

How Bad is that? In my new office, at least one whole wall will be Dry Erase.

Whiteboard fanatic

I have Dry Erase boards all over my office. I love writing down thoughts that I want to stay with me and I want them in front of me when I work.

"Do the right thing, with the right heart!"
"Clarify the win!"
"Replace yourself"
I really haven't found a very easy way to do this so I just keep adding Dry erase boards to my office.  Right now I have three hanging on my walls.  I think that in my new office I want dry erase walls.
Do you have any creative ways of keeping your vision at the forefront of your mind?
