Goals for 2008, Tomorrow starts today

Ralph Waldo Emerson once said, "the world makes way for the man who knows where he is going." That is one of the greatest benefits for setting goals. It set's the course for your life, it gives you a clear direction to focus your time, talents and energy towards.
Here are five benefits of setting Goals:
1. It makes you decide what is important for you to achieve in your life
2. It causes you to separate what is irrelevant from what is important
3. Goals motivate you toward achievement
4. Setting and Accomplishing your goals builds your self-confidence and confidence in God
5. It is said that, "The Good is the enemy of the great." Setting Goals help you differentiate from Good things and Great things. If a good thing is going to hinder me from achieving a great thing I need to focus my energy towards the great thing.
Zig Ziglar says, "What you get by achieving your goals is not nearly as important as what you become by achieving your goals."
