Under Construction

I worked for about six hours today on our worship space remodel.  We are turning an old gymnasium and weight room into a state of the art worship facility.  Today, we started the construction of a 25 x 75 foot wall that will back the stage, the sound booth, studding out and drywalling the interior walls, and also began the new stage construction.  Our current stage is like 40 x 16 and our new stage will be 50 x 24 plus another 30 x 10 speaking stage out front.

I know these are the greatest shots, I snapped them real quick with my iphone.

The crazy thing is, that tomorrow morning, we still have to have service in here.  Justin #2 has his job cut out for him tonight in getting this place ready to go.  I know he can take care of it though, he's the man!

To build a Garage...2

I took a day off of work on Tuesday and Finished my Garage.

Not bad for a two and a half day job!

I want to give a shout out to all of my Men who came over and gave me some free labor.  Thank you so much guys!  I definitely could not have busted this thing out that fast without you!  I am blessed!

Now Amanda and I have a place to park our two debt free vehicles!  Oh yeah, and this garage was paid for in CASH!!!!  We are still marching our way towards debt freedom.  Two student loans and the Mortgage is all we have left!  Praise God!

I sure used a lot of exclamation points in this post!!!!

To build a Garage...

It takes a little bit of money and a few good friends.

We started this project at 10:30 this morning.  There was nothing but a blank slab of concrete.
