The Mix 2008

We are working on the promotional material for our Youth Conference in November.  2007 was the first year that we have done it all by ourselves and it went really well.  We are planning on doubling this year, so we want to take the whole event to another level.  All of our print material is going to be done with the Obey Giant feel.

What do you think of this poster?  Does anything need to be changed?

this is phat. I dunno about on a shirt tho..? and does it draw high schoolers attention?

This isn't the t-shirt design just the poster. Everything will have this feel, but will fit the medium.

Jaron has a good point. The person in the poster looks really young...almost like a little kid to me. Is there anyway to "age" the kid a little? I would be concerned that non KYC youth may think it is juvenile or something.
Just some thoughts.

I like the cartoonish part of it, but I also think it looks like a childrens church event. Maybe vbs. Great starting place though.

what happened to the blood splatter!? lol.

It's a really cool poster... but it seems irrelevant or almost template-ish. The look of a child praying is a bit juxtapositional of the blood-splatter/die-to-self REDEFINE theme. I love the Obey Giant vibe though... maybe something with a little more passion like a teenager lifting his/her hands or something like that.

I think overall its a sweet poster but i agree the person looks too young. Let's make him look relevant. Give him some tight hair and a tat or something. But its pretty tight

it looks cool for sure. but it doesn't make me* (high school kid that attends kyc) want to attend the mix.

we're hardcore. Not somber and introspective.

How will this relate to the feel of the mix, the message, the video, the website, and the other promotional materials that Jenn has already been working on?

put a tat on his neck. and make him look like me. thats all that needs done.

why would we do that? The little boy already looks just like you.
