God in a headlock

Jacob put God in a headlock.

God played along.

God was tired of all the talk.

God decided to put hands on Jacob.

Jacob wanted a new life.

Jacob was tired of all the talk.

Jacob decided to put hands on God.

No angelic chorus, No blinding light from heaven.

When God wanted to get man's attention and Man wanted to get God's blessing, they fought for it.

It wasn't pretty.  It wasn't a cute little prayer.  It was God and Man in a cage, to the tapout.

My favorite part of this story is how God played along.  I believe that God loves to teach us "hands on."  Sure he could of choked Jacob out in less than a second, but He chose to wrestle.  If I was God I probably would have delivered a swift punch to the throat and ended the discussion, But God chose to wrestle.

This Blog is going to be about wrestling with God...

...Finding God's blessing's in life, love, and leadership.

I hope this helps.  I hope you can wrestle.
